    History

    After the 1957 flood devastated Valencia, the Turia river was diverted and its old bed, instead of becoming a motorway, was turned into a 9-km park crossing the city. Today it is Valencia's green lung and main backbone.

    What to see

    Gulliver Park, Palau de la Música, historic bridges, sports areas, orange trees and bike paths. Connects the Bioparc with the City of Arts.

    Tips

    Rent a bike (Valenbisi or private) to cycle through it in a morning.
